Believer's Hip Prosthesis
This hip implant is meant for people of all ages, but primarily middle-aged and enderly who have a suffered a fracture of neck of femur or head erosion. It is made of a steel variant that has antibacterial properties in itself. It has distal blunt bulleted octopus geometry and a considerably small in length. Finite Element Analysis was performed on the CAD design. von Mises stresses and displacement were greatly reduced as compared to the traditinally available hip implants in the market.
Benefits for the Customer (the Patient)-
Dimensionally, the believer’s prosthesis almost matches the natural dimension values of the hip joint anatomy.
The Range of Motion of the joint is restored to its optimum value.
The node of maximum stress and strain i.e., part of the neck just below the head medially, is more stable because of the oval cross-section of the neck.
Because of the short stem and filleted entities, the design is much less likely to injure the vessels and nerves present in the region. There is much less penetration into the bone marrow. Hence, minimum marrow functions, which are vital for the survival and growth of the human tissues, are disturbed.
Multiple fenestrations account for faster recovery in the hospital post-operatively and firmer hold of the implant by the bony tissue in place.
No risk of bone joint deformities post-operatively, likes coxa valgus/varus.
Distal bulleted geometry provides a more stable and stress free surgery as the chances to fracture the impacting bone are reduced due to the massive reduction in the implant tension forces.
No noise on mobility, minimum debris formation, high corrosive resistance of the implant as a whole.
Reduced chances of infection and loosening of the implant (antibacterial properties and cementless design).
High ductility, low warping, low brittleness.
High biocompatibility, fatigue-proof.
Needlessness of carburization, small overall size of the implant, and the material cost difference account for about more than 11 times (> 8.1 x 1.5) reduced cost.
Banafits for the Company and the Shareholders-
Promising Hip Implant design stability.
Ideal for all age groups (smaller size à less penetration into the marrow à higher vital production processes à less compromising with the tissue breakdown and high biological quality).
Brilliant prognosis of the implant.
Low material costs.
High market demand.
Profitable product performance.
High costs of competitor manufacturers.
